Exactly one year ago, I signed a contract with a telecommunications provider called Amigo.
At the time, it was €10 (€7 as I signed during a sale) for unlimited data and 5,000 minutes of unlimited calls.

And upon returning to Japan, I cancelled my Amigo subscription.
Cancellation procedure
Cancelling your Amigo subscription is straightforward.

Summary
My impressions after using it were: convenient! Simple!
The downside is that the connection tends to drop slightly indoors. I wonder if the major provider MEO might connect…?
Still, considering the price and ease of use, it stands head and shoulders above the rest. I haven’t encountered any problems, so I think it’s perfectly adequate.
If you’re coming to Portugal on a working holiday, I’d recommend it.
