I became a Czech Supporting Supporter 2024, accredited by the Czech Tourist Board!
We are happy that they have accredited us, despite our lack of any achievements.
This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the Czech Republic and to hear about what it takes to make a living. Thank you very much!
My first embassy.
I never thought the day would come when I would be an uncle with no interest in foreign countries…
It’s interesting because you never know what the future holds.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a place where I don’t know anyone at all.
A little nervous.
When I entered, there were so many people there. So many people were interested in the Czech Republic! Suddenly I feel a sense of familiarity.
’The chef is on holiday so only light refreshments will be served.’
but enough food and booze to suffice, although there was an announcement saying.
The Czech Republic is known as Urquell!
All the beer and wine you can drink. I like it because it’s very Czech.
Urkel taken with a 50mm. Brilliantly out of focus.
The person next to him was an expatriate and a long-time resident of the left-hand side of the Czech Republic. near Dresden.
We talked to him about a wide range of topics, from visas to life there. There were all sorts of tough stories, but he seemed to enjoy pulling it all together.
Talking to the embassy staff.
Somewhat like when I was travelling, we talked with body language. Fun. But everyone was conversing normally. I guess it’s more fun to have a conversation.
I heard that Czechs are very self-deprecating. I felt some kind of kinship with Japan.
When we asked about the Visa Programme Digital Nomad, we were connected to the person in charge.
They said it is not very well known as it starts on 23 August 2023.
He explained it to me on the spot and was very helpful. What was interesting at the same time was,
‘It says that the Digital Nomad Programme is issued in 45 days, but um, that’s not true, you should look at least three to four months.’
I think you should wait at least three to four months. I like this feeling, it’s very foreign.
I had conversations with many people, including those who support Czech baseball and those who make clothes.
It was a short time, but it was very meaningful for me.
They are people I want to meet again in the Czech Republic.
Rave reviews on visas.
The longer I wait, the more mysterious anxiety arises in my constitution. I want to move quickly, but this year I’m going to sit back and take action.
Now that I am an official supporter, I would be happy if I could use this opportunity to learn more about the Czech Republic and help in activities to spread the goodness of the Czech Republic, even if only a little.
