Sometimes I have unused medication left over from prescriptions. How should I dispose of these medicines?
Not knowing, I asked at the chemist’s.
Whether prescribed in Japan or Portugal, it was fine to dispose of them in the bins provided at the Farmácia (chemist’s).
Prescribed medicines can be purchased at the Farmácia (pharmacy), and you can rest assured when disposing of them.
