Recommended printing outlets for digital data in Lisbon.

I needed to print visa application documents in Portugal.
But surprisingly, there are no places that can do it. I think it was convenient in Japan. In Japan, you can print at any Seven-Eleven anytime, anywhere with netprint.

I found a similar service in Portugal. But basically you have to visit a shop to print.

Here I write down my recommendations for printing shops.

Printing in Lisbon is「Azul e Amarelo, Centro de Cópias e Impressões – Chelas」

The shop offered a wide range of printing services, from regular paper printing to booklets, T-shirt printing, cup printing and printing using a large printer; it also had a GoogleMap rating of 4.5, higher than other places, which was another reason for choosing it.

First of all, they ordered online printing and requested delivery to their homes.
Then,

Bom dia,

antes de mais obrigado pelo contacto.

Para impressão de poucas folhas solicitamos que faça diretamente aqui na loja.

Melhores cumprimentos,

For small print runs, they said, you have to do it directly at the shop.
35 pages is a small quantity, apparently.

Print directly at the shop

So I have printed it in the shop.

When I first came to the shop, was this the right place? I went to the entrance of the factory with the feeling that I was in the right place.

Further in, there was a small entrance. Concern.
Go further in this and you will find the shop on the second floor.

I was told that on the website, Saturdays start at 10am, but when I actually visit the shop, it opens at 11am.

When I visit the shop after it opens, there are lots of signs to read. I don’t know how to do it.

I managed to print it by reading and asking the shop assistant!
The procedure is the following flow.

  1. Send the digital data you want to print to the Email attached to the paper.
  2. You are allowed to use the PC of your choice 1-3 that is placed there.
  3. Launch a browser and the Gmail app will start up, so make sure the digital data you want to print is there.
  4. Download the digital data you want to print to your PC.
  5. Printing.
  6. When you have finished printing everything, ask the clerk.
  7. Pay and you’re done.

There was a lot going on at the time of printing, and, the PC froze in the middle of the process and stopped accepting anything.
When I approached the clerk, he rebooted it and it was back to normal.
At that time, he said to me, ‘You locked!’ He laughed and spoke to me. He laughed humourously.

The man in red. He is a funny guy.

One final note of caution.

Payments can be made in cash or by MB Way; MB Way can only be paid if you have opened a Bank of Portugal account. Make sure you take cash with you. In my case, it cost €3.4 for an A4, 35-page, black and white, double-sided print.

The print shop was a hideaway, but there are some good people there and I would recommend it.
It’s on the edge of Lisbon, but you can see the Tagus River on the way back, so you can go printing while having fun anyway.
